Together, we created YFC to manage fund development, operations, marketing, volunteer coordination, and policy, on behalf of dozens of nonprofits that work to support young people and families in distressed and low-opportunity communities. YFC meets the most important needs on behalf of its member nonprofits, including:
YFC generates earned media on behalf of nonprofits and manages this website and
its social media.
YFC provides IT services, payroll and facilities support, human resources, training, evaluation metrics, and professional mentoring.
YFC organizes events, writes grant applications, develops and promotes giving programs, and strategically recruits and mobilizes third-party support.
YFC uses its grassroots reach to engage, recruit, match, train, and integrate volunteers on behalf of nonprofits. This includes managing background checks, onboarding work, and data integration.
YFC advocates on behalf of nonprofits in the federal, state, and municipal legislative and administrative processes to influence outcomes and fully empower our nonprofits to do what they do best.
